Newbrough, Fourstones & Warden

Village Society

Newbrough, Fourstones and Warden Village Society was originally set up to comment on a planning issue in Newbrough. Whilst it still responds when asked for its views on such matters, its main activity is mounting a series of educational and social events throughout the winter half of the year.

With one fundraising event each year the Society aims to cover its costs and has traditionally made grants to organisations in the villages from any surpluses. It  currently provides the monthly prize for the winner of the quiz in the Stanegate.

Membership fees are kept low  (currently £2 per year) and membership gives free entry to all events other than the annual fundraising concert or dance.
