A Goodbye To Dennis and Dorothy
After running the garage and shop for more than 46 years, Dorothy and Dennis are retiring and handing over to someone new. They have sent the following words to all their past customers…..
It has been our pleasure during these years of providing a service to our villages.
We must thank everyone for their support during this time, without you the village
shop may not be in existence. It was a great pity that the government agreed to axe post
offices, unfortunately we were a casualty of this. We had not long re-
The new tenants are George and Dawn Walker, who live at Crossgate cottage.
They have taken on our existing staff, who you all know.
We trust that the support you have given us will continue to help retain our village shop.
We wish them every success.
